The Child Support Specialist monitors child support caseloads for all appropriate enforcement actions in accordance with Federal Regulations and mandated time frames. This role involves managing and monitoring child support caseloads for delinquency and compliance with court orders, prioritizing computerized work items and reports, and taking appropriate enforcement actions. The specialist will prepare legal documents, engage with case participants, negotiate payment plans, review reports, and make determinations regarding case needs. Additionally, the role requires reviewing case data for accuracy, making corrections, and documenting case events. Communication with case participants and other agencies via phone, fax, mail, and email is essential, ensuring timely responses. All other assigned duties are also part of the role.
