The DHS’ Division of Child Support Services (DCSS) is seeking candidates to fill the position of Child Support Services Agent Supervisor, this position will report to the Manager, Child Support Services. This position is located in Augusta, GA (Richmond County).

Requirements

High school diploma/GED and five (5) years of direct job-related experience, which includes two (2) years in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role.
Two (2) years of experience at the lower-level Child Support Services Agent 3 (SST062)
One (1) year of experience at the lower level Child Support Services Agent 4 (SST063) or position equivalent.

Responsibilities

Manage casework functions within the Child Support Services office or unit.
Interprets and apply state, federal and agency laws, rules, policies and procedures and assists staff with sensitive and complex cases.
Provides human resources management direction to assigned staff.
Performs administrative assignments as required for the efficient operation of unit.
Coordinates and participates in local and statewide projects, as requested.
Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by manager, director or leadership team.
Under direct supervision, establishes and enforces child support obligations of responsible parents.
Coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial and public organizations.
