Requirements

• Four years of experience in a domestic relations office which included the interpretation, application and explanation of policies and regulations and analysis of information; or A bachelor’s degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training including one year in a domestic relations office which included the interpretation, application and explanation of policies and regulations and analysis of information.
• You must live in or be willing to relocate to one of the counties of primary assignment: Lancaster, Lebanon, or York county.
• You must meet the PA residency requirement.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
• This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment.
• Under Pub 1075, acceptance of a conditional offer of employment will require submission to and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to: a fingerprint-based federal records check; a PA State Police clearance; a check of local law enforcement agencies where you have lived, worked, and/or attended school within the last five (5) years; and a citizenship/residency verification.

Responsibilities

• Review case information, analyze data, and assess program effectiveness to strengthen child support services
• Work with Domestic Relations Sections, County Assistance Offices, and partner agencies to resolve issues and support case activity
• Perform audits, evaluate payment situations, prepare reports, and help ensure accuracy in child support cases
• Provide guidance and training to staff on systems, procedures, and child support program requirements
• Explain program rules, assist with resolving disputes, and communicate decisions to partner agencies and clients
• Investigate complaints, gather information, document findings, and recommend solutions for unresolved case concerns
