Child Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – 100% Remote – Missouri License Required
About The Position
Iris Telehealth is seeking a passionate Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for a fully remote, outpatient telehealth opportunity. This role focuses on providing high-quality behavioral health care to patients primarily ages 5-21, with the option to extend to age 30. The position offers a flexible Monday-Friday schedule (32-40 hours per week) and the support of a multidisciplinary care team. The mission of Iris Telehealth is to expand access to high-quality behavioral health care, and this role allows clinicians to make a significant impact from the comfort of their homes.
Requirements
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency.
- Active Missouri medical license required.
- Availability for 40 hours per week during CST business hours.
- Experience and comfort treating patients across varying acuity levels.
- Experience treating adolescents and adults (ages 5-21).
- Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.
Nice To Haves
- Telehealth experience preferred.
- Experience using EPIC a plus.
- Option to see patients through age 30, if desired.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient telehealth care to patients ages 5-21, with the option to see patients through age 30.
- Conduct initial evaluations (60 minutes) and follow-up appointments (30 minutes).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including neurologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, family resource specialists, and education coordinators.
- Participate in monthly collaboration meetings with the broader care team.
- Focus on delivering meaningful patient care within a supportive environment.
