The Child Nutrition Program (CNP) Child Nutrition (CNW) is responsible for preparing and serving cafeteria meals for all meal services the district participates in through the Texas Department of Agriculture. This role involves preparing daily scratch, convenience, and complex food production of meals for schools, ensuring food is prepared with high quality, served on time, and is safe to eat. The position also requires maintaining accurate records for inventory, cash handling, food production, and temperature logging, as well as adhering to sanitation and safety regulations. The Child Nutrition Worker will work cooperatively with coworkers and provide excellent customer service to students, parents, staff, and administration, creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere during meal service.
