About The Position

Supports group and remote programming as a part of Child Life and Creative Arts Therapies, including the Child Life Center, Teen Lounge and Sibling Care. Offers developmentally appropriate activities to foster normalization and promote healing for the whole family.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education required.
• 2+ years experience working with children and families required.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1+ years experience working with children and families in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with patient assessment and documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports group and remote programming as a part of Child Life and Creative Arts Therapies, including the Child Life Center, Teen Lounge and Sibling Care.
• Offers developmentally appropriate activities to foster normalization and promote healing for the whole family.
• Leadership role in development and coordination of special events programs.
• Technology/closed circuit television programming.
