About The Position

Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate Child Interventionists/ABA Behavior Technicians (both entry-level and experienced) to teach young children affected by autism. The mission is to make a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families. This role offers a part-time opportunity to make a full-time impact, with support for career growth towards RBT and BCBA certifications. The company aims to create a welcoming environment where teams feel valued, respected, and heard, with a leadership team that champions individual potential.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • A love and passion for working with children
  • Interest in learning
  • Valid driver's license & personal vehicle
  • Web Enabled Device (laptop or tablet)
  • At least 3 weekdays with same availability
  • Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families
  • Ability to dedicate at least 15 hours per week for training in the first 3 weeks of employment.

  • A year of experience working with children

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the child and family in their natural environment (most often their home).
  • Teach children how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills.
  • Make home-sessions fun by teaching through play-based activities.
  • Complete training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
  • Work on goals such as functional communication, socializing with peers, and sharing with others.
