About The Position

Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate Child Interventionists/ABA Behavior Technicians (both entry-level and experienced) to teach young children affected by autism. The role involves working directly with children and families in their natural environment, typically their homes, to teach essential skills such as communication, sharing, and play. The position is part-time, requiring 10-20 hours per week, with a mandatory 15 hours per week for training during the first three weeks of employment. The company emphasizes a supportive and welcoming work environment where team members feel valued, respected, and heard, with a leadership team dedicated to individual growth.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • A love and passion for working with children
  • Interest in learning
  • Valid driver's license & personal vehicle
  • Web Enabled Device (laptop or tablet)
  • At least 3 weekdays with same availability
  • Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families

  • A year of experience working with children

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (most often their home).
  • Teach children how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills.
  • Make home-sessions fun by teaching through play-based activities.
