About The Position

Butterfly Effects is seeking passionate Child Interventionists/ABA Behavior Technicians to teach young children affected by autism. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families. The company is dedicated to making its teams feel valued, respected, and heard, fostering a welcoming environment with a leadership team that champions individual achievement. The work involves direct interaction with children and families in their natural environment, using play-based activities to teach essential life skills such as communication, sharing, and play. This position requires a commitment of 10-20 hours per week, with at least 15 hours dedicated to training in the first three weeks.

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • A love and passion for working with children
  • Interest in learning
  • Valid driver's license & personal vehicle
  • Web Enabled Device (laptop or tablet)
  • At least 3 weekdays with same availability
  • Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families

Nice To Haves

  • A year of experience working with children

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (most often their home).
  • Teach children how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills.
  • Make home-sessions fun by teaching through play-based activities.
  • Bring calm, protection, and happiness to families and children affected by autism.
