About The Position

Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated experienced Behavior Technicians to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. This role involves collaborating with families to execute ABA based behavior intervention plans. This is a fulfilling part-time role with flexible hours, offering the ideal work-life balance. The company's mission is to make a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families affected by autism.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A genuine love for working with children.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
  • Experience as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician required.
  • Interest in ongoing development.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care.
  • Collaborate with families to execute ABA based behavior intervention plans.
