Requirements

  • 6+ years of recruiting experience (high-volume/full-cycle preferred)
  • Strong ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems and data
  • Excellent organization and follow-through
  • Confidence working independently and driving results

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in early childhood, education, or nonprofit sectors
  • Familiarity with CDA or early childhood credentials
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end hiring for teachers, assistants, and program staff
  • Manage high-volume requisitions across multiple sites
  • Conduct phone screens and guide candidates through the process
  • Keep roles moving to minimize vacancy gaps
  • Lead intake meetings to define hiring needs
  • Coordinate interviews and drive timely decisions
  • Keep everyone accountable to hiring timelines
  • Support Policy Council interview coordination
  • Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and outreach
  • Re-engage past applicants and maintain active pipelines
  • Support recruitment events and creative sourcing strategies
  • Manage internship recruitment and partnerships
  • Guide candidates from offer to first day
  • Ensure completion of all pre-employment requirements
  • Partner with HR, Benefits, and L&D for seamless onboarding
  • Lead new hire orientation and ensure HRIS/payroll setup
  • Track recruiting metrics like time-to-fill and pipeline health
  • Maintain accurate data in ATS/HRIS systems
  • Ensure compliance with hiring regulations and documentation
  • Keep all records audit-ready
