About The Position
The Child Development Assistant-School Age position is an entry-level support staff role working with Discovery Club at Schweitzer ECE. The role is permanent and part-time, with a 12-month work calendar of 260 days per year, five days per week, and a four-hour workday. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The salary is $18.11–$19.74 per hour ($3,139–$3,421 per month), and benefits are included. Requirements

Nice To Haves
- Proof of an Associate Teacher Permit (ATP) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
- Higher education that includes college units in Early Childhood Education (ECE).
- Completion of 6 ECE units.
- Previous experience working with school-age children ages 5–12.
- Official transcripts if providing transcripts with the application. Foreign college or university coursework must be evaluated for equivalency to coursework or a degree from an accredited United States college or university, with the evaluation document provided.
