About The Position
Child Development Assistant-School Age positions are entry-level and work with Discovery Club. This is a permanent, part-time position with a length of work year of 12 months/year, 260 days/year, 5 days/week. The length of work day is 4 hours, with work hours from Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM. The salary range is $18.11 - $20.65 per hour.
Requirements
- Completed application listing experience, education, and/or training that is relevant to this position.
- Previous experience working with school-age children ages 5-12.
Nice To Haves
- Proof of Associate Teacher Permit (ATP) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
- Higher education that includes completion of college units in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
- Completion of 6 ECE units
