About The Position

A Child Center Team Member provides fitness-minded engagement for children ages 1 to 11 in XCAL’s Child Activity Center. The role involves organizing and implementing safe, fun, engaging activities and games for children.

XCAL Shooting Sports and Fitness is a family-owned business combining technology-driven design with customer service. Its facility includes shooting ranges, a restaurant, retail space, fitness areas and studios, a martial arts dojo, spa services, and a child activity center. Employment includes an XCAL membership, flexible hours, and employee locker rooms.

Requirements

• Obtain First Aid certification and Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification within the first 60 days of hire.
• Complete all state or federal requirements before the first day of work.
• Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet, acknowledge, and interact with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Engage children in interactive activities, including storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, and games.
• Monitor and interact with children to maintain a safe and healthy environment, taking account of toys, equipment, other children, and the surroundings.
• Maintain the Child Activity Center by following the cleaning checklist and performing assigned tasks.
• Promote XCAL programs, products, and services.
