About The Position
Healthy Learning Academy at the Gallatin Valley YMCA is hiring a seasonal Child Care Teacher in Bozeman, Montana, to work with children ages 3 months to 6 years. This short-term role runs from December 1 through January 15 and offers 30 or more hours per week. The teacher supports the Lead Teacher and helps provide a warm, inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning environment that promotes children’s growth and well-being.
Requirements
- Complete a background check and fingerprinting.
- Hold current CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain it within 30 days.
- Commit to ongoing professional development.
- Show enthusiasm for early childhood education and teamwork.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in licensed early learning settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom routines.
- Encourage positive social-emotional development and healthy habits.
- Assist with daily care needs, including meals, transitions, and supervision.
- Help maintain a warm, tidy, and developmentally appropriate learning space.
