About The Position
Healthy Learning Academy at the Gallatin Valley YMCA is hiring a seasonal Child Care Teacher in Bozeman, Montana. The role serves children ages 3 months to 6 years and runs from December 1 through January 15, with a schedule of 30 or more hours per week. The teacher supports the Lead Teacher and helps create a positive, inclusive, warm, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Requirements
- Background check and fingerprinting are required.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it within 30 days.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Enthusiasm for early childhood education and teamwork.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in licensed early learning settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom routines.
- Encourage children’s positive social-emotional development and healthy habits.
- Assist with daily care needs, including meals, transitions, and supervision.
- Help maintain a warm, tidy, and developmentally appropriate learning space.
