About The Position

The Child Care Teacher creates and delivers age-appropriate learning programs in a supportive classroom environment. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
1–2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education, or degree in Elementary Education.

Responsibilities

Develop a careful and creative program suitable for specific age groups of children.
Use a variety of educational techniques, such as storytelling, educational play, and media, to teach children.
Observe each child to help improve social competencies and build self-esteem.
Encourage children to interact with one another and resolve occasional arguments.
Guide children in developing artistic and practical capabilities through a structured curriculum, including activities involving shapes, numbers, colors, and crafts.
Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure their safety.
Track children’s progress and report to parents.
Communicate regularly with parents to understand children’s backgrounds and needs.
Collaborate with other educators.
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
