About The Position

To care for and teach young children in a child care environment. Responsible for providing a variety of functions in care giving and teaching in a child care learning environment.

Requirements

High school graduation or GED.
One year of experience working with young children in a licensed child care center.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Hands on experience leading 0-5 year olds.
Formal training in a child related field.
Previous experience working in an accredited center.
Previous lead teacher experience teaching pre-k.
Stable work history.
Bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
Supervise and care for children in the 3-5 year age range both indoors and outdoors.
Communicate daily with parents.
Supervise assistant.
