This role involves managing the submission, review, and approval of applications for child care funds by states, territories, and tribes. The specialist will act as a regional liaison, preparing and managing correspondence to assess grantee performance and compliance with Federal regulations. Key responsibilities include developing guidance, technical assistance resources, and training materials to support program operations oversight. The role also involves training staff and grantees, providing briefings, facilitating meetings and webinars, and collecting and analyzing data. The specialist will prepare reports and memoranda on legislative and operational concerns for senior management, coordinate special projects, and monitor program operations activities with federal and contract staff. Regular reports and updates on project and work statuses will be provided to Office of Child Care regional program stakeholders.
