About The Position

Wellthy connects reliable caregivers with families who need last-minute childcare for situations like school closures, holidays, or unexpected work trips. Caregivers can set their own preferences for schedule and age groups, and Wellthy handles the rest. This role offers flexibility, allowing providers to accept only the gigs that fit their personal lives and commitments. Payment is competitive and directly deposited, with earnings ranging from $22–$44 per hour based on location, experience, and family needs.

Requirements

• Some demonstrable experience in childcare (babysitting, siblings, nannying, daycare or volunteering counts!).
• Reliability: You show up on time and communicate clearly.
• Trust & Safety: Must complete a comprehensive Trust & Safety onboarding process and meet all local, state, and enterprise childcare compliance standards.
• Empathy: You genuinely care about helping families and hanging with kids.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Keep kids engaged, safe, and off their screens with fun activities.
• Assist with basic routines (meals, naps, homework help).
