About The Position

The Child Care Lead Infant Teacher leads and supports classroom teaching staff while providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children. The role involves implementing The Learning Experience’s proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways that reflect each child’s needs, communicating with families about children’s experiences and achievements, and partnering with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement. The teacher builds positive relationships with families and coworkers and fosters an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 12 ECE college credits required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of professional teaching experience preferred.
Associate degree or higher in ECE or a related field preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor co-teachers; model behaviors and provide feedback.
Manage the classroom and lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
Serve as a role model, use a growth mindset, and inspire children’s love of learning.
Implement the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children in a way that meets each child’s needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about their children’s experiences and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals around enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create an environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
