Hours are Monday-Friday 2:00-6:00pm. Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Education or a related field
- Two years of experience as a child care director or head teacher
- Proficiency in Ohio Department of Job and Families Child Care licensing regulations and Step-Up to Quality standards
- Strong leadership abilities
- Creativity
- Passion for working with children
- Communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree with four years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Overseeing center enrollment and marketing
- Keeping a close eye on classroom teachers and compliance with ODJFS licensing and Step-Up to Quality standards
- Handling billing, snack, and meal service
- Engaging with children, parents, YMCA personnel, and center guests
- Collaborating with fellow center directors
