As a Team Lead, you are a Teacher, Communicator, Mentor, Leader, and Expert. You will promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care, take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and communicate and build relationships with families. You will also be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, and take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school. Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Successful completion of a background check is a prerequisite of employment.

Nice To Haves

• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and your fellow Teachers, as you create fun, interactive learning experiences to share with the preschool children.
• Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in his/her absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.
