About The Position

As a Team Lead, you are a Teacher, promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care. You will take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, with classroom instruction being at least 50% of your weekly schedule. You are also a Communicator, building relationships with families to promote child achievement and support your center’s success. As a Mentor, you will be responsible for, or assisting with, the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and fellow Teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences. As a Leader, you will take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school. As an Expert, you will ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
  • The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
  • Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
  • Successful completion of a background check is a prerequisite of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA.
