About The Position

The Child Care Center Director leads and oversees school operations, supporting children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth. The Director works with staff to create a warm, inspiring, educational, caring, and safe environment, while keeping parents informed and engaged and fostering positive relationships with the surrounding community. The role includes managing and developing staff, supporting implementation of the company-provided curriculum, and ensuring the school meets company and state licensing standards.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Meet state education requirements and the company’s center/school requirements.
At least 2 years of management experience in early childhood education.

Nice To Haves

CDA, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

Responsibilities

Plan staff work schedules, evaluate performance, and develop performance improvement plans.
Assist with implementing the company-provided curriculum by coaching teachers, communicating standards, and interpreting standards for them.
Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
Promote a positive partnership with the surrounding community.
Help create an educational, caring, and safe environment that encourages children’s imagination, self-esteem, and discovery.
Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
Keep parents informed and engaged.
