Child Care Associate Teacher
About The Position
Bright Horizons is hiring an Associate Teacher to work with toddlers in an early education or preschool child care center. The role provides supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and other services in accordance with Bright Horizons’ policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations. The employee is expected to help ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons’ care. The position is performed in person. Full-time positions are available, and the posting also describes a hiring incentive for candidates hired part-time. Bright Horizons offers opportunities to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost through its Horizons CDA & Degree Program. The pay range is $14.10–$17.50 per hour; actual offers depend on factors including experience, education, training, certifications, geography, and other business or organizational factors. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
- Pass required state and company background checks.
- Meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
- A CDA, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in early education or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with hands-on activities that meet the needs and interests of the children.
- Maintain open communication with parents and share their child's daily milestones.
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
- Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services in accordance with Bright Horizons’ policies, procedures, and guidance and applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons’ care.
