About The Position

BrightPath Kids is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher Floater in Strongsville. The Assistant Teacher works alongside teachers and families to provide children with a home-away-from-home environment in accordance with NAEYC guidelines. The role supports children from 6 weeks to 12 years old and helps maintain a safe, warm, clean setting where children can grow and explore. The position offers no evenings or weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Assist teachers with classroom instruction.
• Decorate classrooms indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Maintain a warm, safe, and clean environment that supports children's growth and exploration.
• Interact with children to encourage their participation in activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
