About The Position

The Child Care Aide is responsible for assisting staff with the supervision, education and care services provided to the children. This person will assist in implementing daily schedules and routines such as diapering and toileting; daily cleaning, organizing, and laundering; and meal prep and service.

Requirements

Be a minimum of 18 years of age
Possess a deep love for children and a strong commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Must be creative, enthusiastic and have a high energy level
Proven ability to work collaboratively
Decisive, patient, and understanding
Keen attention to detail
Superior organizational skills
Knowledge of child care regulations
Ability to care for several children at once
Ability to prepare, cook, serve and clean-up meals served to the children
Must adapt well to change and be a quick learner with the ability to make changes in the schedule as needed
Ability to take direction and coaching in order to provide the highest quality of care
Experience working with children ranging in ages from 0-6
