Blackbird Health is hiring licensed therapists for its Maryland team to provide virtual and in-person therapy to children, adolescents, young adults ages 2–26, and their caregivers. Therapists build relationships with patients and families, understand their needs, support engagement in treatment, and educate them about therapeutic approaches that foster long-term progress. They provide compassionate, evidence-based care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Employment arrangements include W-2 full-time, W-2 part-time, and 1099 contractor options. Full-time clinicians may work a hybrid schedule with three onsite days or a fully onsite schedule. Part-time clinicians work two onsite days with some flexibility. Contractors manage their schedules autonomously. Clinical availability is concentrated during peak hours after 3:00 PM on weekdays and/or weekends, with specific hour and completed-session expectations varying by arrangement. Blackbird handles credentialing, billing, insurance, and EMR tasks. The company offers a guaranteed caseload, paid weekly clinical consultation, and peer support. Blackbird describes its approach as whole-child care that considers the interactions among the brain, body, and behavior, and emphasizes family-centered pediatric mental health services.
