About The Position

Blackbird Health is hiring a provisionally licensed or associate therapist to provide evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and caregivers. The role is based on-site alongside an interdisciplinary team and includes clinical supervision toward independent licensure, administrative support, and a guaranteed caseload. Blackbird handles credentialing, billing, insurance, and the electronic medical record so therapists can focus on patient care.

The job offers W-2 full-time and part-time options. Full-time clinicians have 36 hours of scheduled clinical availability to support 28 completed direct-care hours per week, with four-day shift options of 12:00 PM–8:00 PM or 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. At least 20 hours per week must fall during peak periods after 3:00 PM on weekdays and/or weekends. Part-time clinicians work 20 contracted hours per week, supporting 17 completed direct-care hours, with all contracted hours during peak periods. The position requires 100% on-site attendance for clinical supervision, team collaboration, and core clinic presence.

Requirements

• Active provisional license or associate credential in Maryland, such as an LMSW, while working toward independent licensure (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
• At least 1 year of experience providing care to children, adolescents, or young adults.
• Commitment to 100% on-site attendance for clinical supervision, team collaboration, and core clinic presence.
• Availability after 3:00 PM ET on weekdays and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and their caregivers.
• Provide care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
• Attend on-site clinical supervision and team collaboration activities.
• Work scheduled clinical availability and complete direct-care hours according to the selected full-time or part-time option.
• Maintain availability after 3:00 PM on weekdays and/or on weekends.
