About The Position

Blackbird Health is looking for a Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care and be empowered to make a tangible difference in the lives of young patients and their families. Part-time positions are available for independently licensed therapists (LCSW-C, LCPC and LCMFT). This is a W-2 Employee - Part-Time (20 hours/week) position. Commitment: 20 hours per week total: 17 hours of direct therapy per week & 3 administrative hours. Schedule: Flexible within business needs, emphasizing after 4pm weekdays and weekends. Work Model: Hybrid (virtual and in-person) with a minimum of 10 clinical hours per week onsite.

Requirements

  • Independently licensed as a LCPC, LCMFT, LCSW-C in Pennsylvania
  • Possess one (1) year of experience providing individual, direct care therapy to children and adolescent patients
  • Have one (1) year of experience working in a telehealth or virtual setting
  • Flexibility to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 4pm ET during the week and/or weekends
  • Skilled in facilitating both in-person and virtual telehealth sessions with strong technical proficiency (Google Suite, EMR systems, virtual platforms)
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong clinical judgment and excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Dedicated to high-touch, comprehensive care, not just clinical sessions, but true partnership with families and caregivers
  • Collaborative team player who values clinical consultation, feedback, and professional growth

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 2-26), building strong therapeutic relationships through consistent, high-quality care
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment of patient progress
  • Invest in your patient relationships by establishing positive, trusting rapport with patients
  • Participate in consultation to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with other specialty providers
  • Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation and patient records
  • Involve and advise family members or outside specialists when appropriate
