About The Position
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens, is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for its Outpatient clinic in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. This division is a key part of the comprehensive Department of Psychiatry, which includes a Pediatric Consultation Program, Outpatient Clinic, School Based Mental Health Program, Home Based Crisis Intervention Program, and an ACGME-accredited Adult Residency Training Program. The role involves serving the culturally diverse community of Southeast Queens.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency training program in psychiatry.
- Completion of a fellowship training program in child and adolescent psychiatry.
- ABPN certification in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
- Current New York State License.
- Medicaid number.
- DEA number.
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care, including psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary staff.
- Supervision of residents and other trainees.
- Participation in teaching and other educational activities.
