About The Position

Atlantic Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry at Morristown Medical Center. This position is located at a newly renovated outpatient office in Florham Park, New Jersey. The candidate will be part of a robust department with support from additional Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists and staff. The role offers a good work/life balance with a 22.5-hour work week, limited at-home call, and one weekend shift per month (paid). The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for adolescents and children, collaborate with clinicians on treatment plans, and contribute to patient well-being. There is also an opportunity to provide cross-coverage for adult patients. This role contributes to enhancing the quality of psychiatric evaluations and treatments across various services, impacting patients of all age groups.

Requirements

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for adolescents and children.
  • Work closely with fellow clinicians and team members to craft effective treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of patient well-being.
  • Provide cross coverage for clinical services, including adult patients when needed.
  • Contribute to the quality enhancement of psychiatric evaluations and treatments across diverse medical and psychiatric services.
