About The Position

Iris Telehealth is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for a full-time, 32-hour-per-week, fully remote position within their Virtual Outpatient Clinic. This role focuses on expanding access to high-quality behavioral health services nationwide, offering flexibility, clinical autonomy, and support. The psychiatrist will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team and will be supported by administrative and operational staff who handle logistics, allowing the clinician to focus on patient care. The Virtual Clinic model aims to address critical gaps in mental health access, reaching children, adolescents, and families. Iris provides comprehensive support including licensing, credentialing, malpractice coverage, equipment, and 24/7 tech support. Clinicians are empowered with advanced tools, including AI-supported systems, to streamline workflows and optimize care, contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency.
• Board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry required.
• Active Wisconsin license or an active IMLC LOQ strongly preferred.
• Availability of 32 hours per week.
• Experience and comfort treating patients ages 5-18 across varying acuity levels.
• Must reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory.

Nice To Haves

• Telehealth experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to children and adolescents (ages 5+).
• Manage a caseload of 12-14 patients per day.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
• Utilize telehealth platforms and EMR (Epic) for patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Focus on delivering thoughtful, impactful care.
