Child Adolescent Psychiatrist - 100% Remote!
About The Position
A warm and mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with 17 years of experience, 119 employees, and 22 providers across 4 locations is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their growing team. The organization fosters a warm, supportive culture that prioritizes both employees and patients. The patient population is multilingual, including many Spanish-speaking patients. This is a full-time, permanent, 100% remote telepsychiatry position focusing on outpatient care. The role involves seeing approximately 1-2 patients per hour, depending on new vs. follow-up visits. There is shared call with the adult medicine team, with RNs and NPs taking first call. The psychiatrist will join a collaborative team that includes 1 Adult Psychiatrist and 1 PMHNP. The organization utilizes E-ClinicalWorks EMR.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Active Texas and Illinois medical licenses required.
- Must be licensed in Texas and Illinois.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
- Experience with telepsychiatry.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus due to the multilingual patient population.
Responsibilities
- Provide telepsychiatry services to children and adolescents.
- See approximately 1-2 patients per hour, depending on new vs. follow-up visits.
- Participate in shared call with the adult medicine team.
