About The Position

Join a Mission-Driven Team Supporting Oregon’s Youth Creativity, collaboration, and compassionate care thrive in Portland’s urban core and surrounding communities. We are seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Psychiatric Residential Program team and help build brighter futures for children and families across Oregon. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a beautiful urban campus where psychiatrists often work with clients outside in the garden or walking or riding bikes. We work in a multidisciplinary team model that values clinical excellence, innovation, diversity, and trauma-informed care.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatry Residency
  • Completion of a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
  • Current Oregon medical license or eligibility
  • DEA certification including Schedule II prescribing authority

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and establish DSM-5 and ICD-10 diagnoses
  • Provide ongoing psychiatric treatment and medication management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams and participate in treatment planning reviews
  • Lead clinical discussions and support quality client care during Clinical Client Review meetings
  • Complete clinical documentation in compliance with agency, accreditation, and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate care with medical specialists and allied health professionals as needed
  • Support program development, staff education, and clinical leadership initiatives
