About The Position
Willow Springs Center is a 116-bed residential treatment facility for children and adolescents ages 6-17 located in Reno, NV. We offer general and specialty treatment programs for males and females in addition to a Special Education program. All programs are staffed by trained clinicians in a multidisciplinary treatment care environment under the direction of the Child Psychiatrist.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner education training program.
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- 1+ years prior work experience (excluding clinical or practicum hours) working in a similar setting.
- Current Nevada physician/medical license in good standing, or the ability to obtain required license.
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
Responsibilities
- Complete admission evaluations
- Regular follow-ups
- Lead weekly treatment team planning and meetings
- Discharge duties for assigned patients
