Chief Systems Engineer - Architect
About The Position
MicroHealth is seeking a Chief Systems Engineer/Architect Lead to serve as the senior technical advisor and subject matter expert supporting USMEPCOM leadership in systems engineering and technical innovation. The position designs and develops solutions to complex applications, systems administration, and network challenges, and performs systems management and integration functions across network domains. The role also delivers executive-level technical briefings and advises on systems engineering best practices and technical innovation initiatives. An active Secret clearance is required.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience providing enterprise-level IT architecture and engineering services across network domains.
- At least one cloud security certification (such as CompTIA or Cloud Security Alliance) or cloud-related technology certification (such as MS, VMware, IBM, AWS, or Google).
- At least one year of experience providing executive-level technical briefings and presentations to senior personnel.
- Active Secret clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more cloud-related technology certifications (such as MS, VMware, IBM, AWS, or Google).
- One or more ITIL certifications.
- IASAE III certification (such as CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP).
- Foundational Qualifications – Advanced Standard certification (such as CCNA, Security+CE, CISSP, SSCP, CISM, or CASP/SecurityX).
Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated Chief Systems Engineer/Architect Lead and provide senior-level technical advisory support to USMEPCOM leadership.
- Design and develop solutions to complex applications, systems administration, and network problems.
- Perform systems management and integration functions across network domains.
- Deliver executive-level technical briefings and presentations to senior personnel and stakeholders.
- Provide subject matter expertise on systems engineering best practices and technical innovation initiatives.
