About The Position

Operating in 21 counties throughout the state, Easterseals New Jersey offers various disability and mental health services to help people with various needs address life’s challenges. Annually, Easterseals New Jersey serves over 4,000 individuals at over 100 sites with direct services, advocacy, and education. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Services or an equivalent field of study.
  • 10+ years of progressive senior leadership experience within behavioral health, mental health, healthcare, or human services settings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing program operations, budgets, and fiscal management.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic leadership for the growth, development, and overall vision of assigned service portfolios.
  • Expands and enhances services in alignment with the mission of Easterseals New Jersey.
  • Identifies and develops new revenue opportunities to support program growth and increase service capacity.
  • Ensures all service lines remain compliant with applicable regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.
  • Maintains a high standard of consumer and customer service across all programs and operations.
  • Promotes program quality and service-line stability through the implementation of standards, controls, systems, procedures, and ongoing evaluation of outcomes.
  • Oversees multiple program budgets and ensures fiscal goals and operational outcomes are achieved.
  • Directs fiscal operations across service portfolios, including budgeting, financial reporting, and audit oversight.
  • Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effectively represents the organization when interacting with leadership, community partners, the Board of Directors, and the public.
  • Ensures all service portfolios maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and operational excellence.
