About The Position

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Technical Product Leader to help drive the development and delivery of advanced power-electronics products for the aerospace industry. In this role, you will serve as a technical leader across a portfolio of products, including inverters, converters, electronic starters, and related power-electronics devices. You will connect customer needs with engineering execution, working across multiple teams to ensure products meet technical requirements while staying aligned with program cost, schedule, and quality objectives. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working directly with customers, leading cross-functional teams, and taking ownership of products from concept through delivery, this role gives you the opportunity to make a direct impact.

Requirements

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Nice To Haves

Experience with power electronics products , applicable MIL-STD specifications, and relevant technical domain knowledge.
Experience providing technical leadership and/or design leadership for complex, large-scale systems, or a related industry certification.
Experience supporting DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle, including FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15 proposal activities .
Experience making data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements and competing priorities.
Experience interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders and leading technical solutions for complex user requirements.
Strong communication, technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills .

Responsibilities

Lead the technical baseline across multiple aerospace power-electronics products, including inverters, converters, electronic starters, and related devices.
Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, understanding their needs and translating requirements and feedback into clear product priorities.
Own and prioritize product activities, ensuring technical work remains aligned with overall program objectives.
Coordinate across engineering and cross-functional teams to keep development activities moving toward successful product delivery.
Drive on-time, high-quality delivery of products and technical services while identifying and addressing issues that could impact performance, cost, schedule, or quality.
Evaluate customer requests and feedback, working with technical teams to determine feasibility, impact, and the appropriate path forward.
Support customer proposals and product deliveries, balancing technical requirements with available resources, cost, and schedule.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with engineering and program teams to improve product value and project profitability.
Collaborate with customers, engineering, program leadership, and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment around product objectives and technical direction.
Develop and maintain the product roadmap, defining delivery schedules, key milestones, future capabilities, and potential technology-development paths.
Serve as a key interface between internal teams, ensuring everyone understands and remains aligned with program budget, schedule, technical, and quality targets.
Anticipate technical risks and competing priorities, helping teams make informed decisions and keep the product moving forward.
