About The Position

SpecialtyCare is seeking an experienced Perfusionist to join their team as a Chief Perfusionist. This role will support one surgeon covering one hospital in Reston, VA, with an adult-only caseload averaging around 125 cases per year, shared with one other perfusionist. SpecialtyCare is the largest provider of perfusion services in the United States, participating in over 100,000 surgeries annually across 45 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. They serve more than 350 hospitals and support nearly 600 surgeons, aiming to provide safer surgery and better outcomes for patients.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Perfusion training program.
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).
• Five plus years of perfusion experience.
• Ability to work on Call.
• Must live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
• Basic computer skills.

• Previous experience as a Chief Perfusionist preferred.
