Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
• 7-10+ years of senior HR leadership experience, particularly in healthcare or community health settings.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on driving organizational change and innovation.
• Understanding of FQHC regulations, cultural competency, and experience working in underserved communities.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• SHRM-SCP or SPHR strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Human Capital Planning: Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop people strategies supporting the growth and mission of The Community Health Center of Buffalo, Inc.
• Talent Acquisition & Retention: Design and execute recruitment and retention plans to attract and retain qualified providers and staff.
• Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to enhance the organization's culture and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, HRSA health center program requirements, and organizational policies.
• Compensation & Benefits: Oversee the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefit plans aligned with the organization's goals.
• Employee Relations & Development: Lead employee and labor relations, performance management, training, and leadership development programs.
