About The Position
Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the development and implementation of operational strategies aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values. This role involves formulating policies and strategic plans for future growth, directing and coordinating overall daily operations, and building relationships to establish partnerships and affiliations. The COO will be responsible for directing operational efficiency and improvement to meet financial targets, establishing control systems for accountability, and collaborating on staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and educating personnel to support operational objectives. The position is eligible for an annual bonus incentive.
Requirements
- Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership/management.

- Prior experience leading operational functions in a hospital setting
- Skilled at physician relationship building
- Proven ability and success growing clinical service lines
