About The Position

Synapticure is a mission-driven digital health and life sciences company dedicated to transforming the care paradigm for individuals and families affected by neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and ALS. Their comprehensive virtual care platform offers nationwide, 24/7 access to expert neurologists, advanced therapies, specialized genetic counseling, and care coordination. Synapticure partners with providers, health plans, and ACOs, actively participating in CMS's GUIDE dementia care model. The company operates on a dual-engine ecosystem: the CARES Engine for clinical operations, providing scalable, specialized neurology care directly to consumers and through B2B integrations, and the CURES Engine for research and innovation, which includes discovery-stage lab services, clinical trial services, and real-world evidence data & analytics, leveraging a national patient cohort to accelerate neurodegenerative breakthroughs.

Requirements

  • 12-15+ years of operational leadership experience.
  • At least 3-5 years specifically scaling a digital health or telehealth startup through its Series B/C growth phase.
  • Experience building playbooks.
  • Experience closely partnering with technical departments (product, data, engineering).
  • Experience driving performance improvements and AI interventions to improve workflows.
  • Extreme ownership mentality; diagnosing root causes, fixing systems, and driving teams forward when targets are missed.
  • Fluency in healthcare complexity, including payer credentialing, asynchronous vs. synchronous care models, and clinical licensure.
  • Deep financial acumen and understanding of how operational decisions impact the P&L.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven decision-making.
  • Elite work ethic, comfortable with both high-level strategy and granular operational details.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize clinical and administrative performance, enhance efficiency, and standardize protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Integrate care operations, staffing models, and financial performance to create cohesive Cares and Cures innovation and delivery systems.
  • Translate high-level strategy into granular operational sprints, build required dashboards, define/meet OKRs, and hold departments accountable for metrics such as Gross Margin, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Time-to-First-Visit, and Patient and Caregiver NPS.
  • Articulate a coherent operational vision that anchors teams and shows them the way forward, balancing short-term demands with long-range thinking.
  • Utilize technology and AI to enhance operations and the patient experience, bringing digital fluency and championing technology-enabled innovation.
  • Apply predictive analytics to improve throughput, use AI to optimize workforce deployment, and lead digital front-door initiatives.
  • Act as a ruthless prioritizer between Operations, Data, and Product/Engineering.
  • Expand market reach, broaden patient coverage, enhance service offerings, and drive growth in local and national markets.
  • Identify growth opportunities and foster innovation and expansion alongside Cares and Cures Growth Leadership teams.
  • Scale the national payer network contracts and grow the team's capability to contract with multiple payers in Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Dual patients.
  • Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to align operational workflows with overarching clinical objectives, product development, and company strategy.
  • Lead from the front, influencing, collaborating, and ensuring shared accountability with physicians and clinical leaders.
  • Champion a high-performance, strong-work-ethic culture.
  • Hire, mentor, and manage personnel to ensure an elite, aligned team that thrives under pressure.
  • Foster a unified culture, drive change management, and facilitate cross-functional partnerships.
