About The Position

The Specialty Solutions Group (SSG) is seeking a dynamic leader to drive strategic and operational needs of the business. SSG is a growing investment division of MSIM focused on providing broad and differentiated tax solutions to high-net worth investors. The team is comprised of seasoned and collaborative equity and real estate investors. With over $75B in AUM and experiencing strong growth, the team is seeking a professional with extensive experience in investment management operations and governance, proven track record in leading complex integration and technology projects, strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks and exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational strategy and governance for SSG
  • Manage division and business initiatives across Equity and REIG divisions
  • Lead integration projects and platform enhancements
  • Lead fund launches and intermediary connectivity
  • Support ongoing fund closings and operational due diligence processes
  • Drive technology integration initiatives
  • Implement operational enhancement to improve efficiency, cross-team collaboration and client service
  • Establish priorities and execution frameworks for business initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards
  • Collaborate with cross functional support teams (legal, tax advisory, risk, compliance, investor services, IT, marketing, sales)
  • Oversee product compliance requirements including relevant policies and procedures
  • Liaise with marketing and distribution teams on development of fund marketing and offering materials
  • Set standards for operational activities including investor onboarding and closing process, quarterly reporting, capital activity, investor relations and client experience
  • Oversee vendor management and onboarding
  • Represent the business to internal and external stakeholders
