Work of this class involves supervising survey personnel. Incumbents receive general supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in an office where there are few uncomfortable working conditions. Work requires minimal physical exertion.

Requirements

Have an associate’s degree in engineering technology, surveying, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
Have six years of experience in performing surveying work, including three years of such supervisory experience as disciplining, evaluating the performance of, and recommending the hiring, firing and promoting of subordinate staff.
Have Current registration as a Professional Land Surveyor or Property Line Surveyor in the State of Maryland is required.
