Chief of Staff

BisnowNew York, NY
$110,000 - $150,000Onsite

About The Position

Bisnow is creating a new Chief of Staff seat, directly supporting and reporting into our CEO, as we scale a media, events, and data business across 47 markets and five countries. This is an execution-focused role where you will turn the CEO's priorities into decisions and actions across sales, editorial, events, marketing, hiring, and finance. You will run the operating rhythm that keeps a fast-moving, multi-market business pointed in the same direction. You will also pick up cross-functional work that doesn't have an obvious owner, from new market launches to product rollouts to organizational redesigns. The ideal candidate has proven they can walk into an organization with no built-in authority, earn the trust of people who don't report to them, and ship the hard thing rather than just coordinate it. If you want a seat where the CEO's priorities become your problem to solve, this is it.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years in a fast-moving operating role (chief of staff, corporate strategy, business operations, consulting, or founder-adjacent) with clear progression in scope and ownership.
  • Proven ability to build and ship work that would have failed without your direct involvement.
  • Experience earning respect laterally in an organization without automatic authority.
  • Cross-functional fluency with genuine curiosity about sales, editorial, events, finance, and product.
  • Exceptional written communication skills: concise, structured, jargon-free, and suitable for a CEO, board, or external partner.
  • Financial literacy, including understanding a P&L and pressure-testing models.
  • Innately curious about technology/AI and experimenting with workplace technology.
  • Based in New York and willing to be in the office alongside the CEO.
  • High agency, low ego, and a steady hand looking to commit multiple years to Bisnow.

  • Stand in for the CEO in meetings and discussions, maintaining momentum and having the standing to move decisions forward.
