Chief of Staff - Vice President of HIV, Hepatitis, and TB

Clinton Health Access Initiative•or CHAI Program Country,

About The Position

The Chief of Staff is the strategic partner to the Vice President leading CHAI’s HIV, Hepatitis, and TB cluster, a growing portfolio of programs working with governments, suppliers, communities, partners, and donors. The role supports high-visibility work across the cluster, including donor pitches and board presentations, and helps shape programs serving people in low- and middle-income countries. The position focuses on communication and synthesis, and leadership of special projects. The Chief of Staff gathers input from program teams and turns it into executive-ready decks, briefs, pre-reads, and talking points, using analytical judgment to work through data and pressure-test arguments. The role also scopes and manages cross-cutting projects sponsored by the VP, bringing together stakeholders and driving work to completion. The Chief of Staff prepares the VP for key meetings, tracks follow-up, triages requests, and helps prioritize the VP’s time in partnership with program leadership, which retains ownership of technical work. The base location is flexible, provided the employee can consistently work East Coast hours. Some travel is required.
