About The Position

Mutiny is building the self-improving AI infrastructure for GTM teams to execute faster and close more revenue. The company aims to do for revenue velocity what Cursor and Claude Code did for engineering velocity. Mutiny provides GTM teams with AI athletes that handle work across their revenue motion and learn from deal progression. The product was relaunched as an agent-first platform in April and has been showcased by Anthropic as a leader in AI GTM. Mutiny is experiencing over 70% month-over-month MRR growth with customers like Uber, Rippling, and Snowflake. The company is backed by Sequoia, YC, and Insight and is focused on building a generational company. This role is for a Chief of Staff to serve as a force multiplier and thought partner to Jaleh. The ideal candidate will be operationally minded, AI-pilled, a natural culture creator, possess deep humility, and have a do-whatever-it-takes mindset. The Chief of Staff will work closely with Jaleh, transform ambiguity into action, and accelerate the entire company's progress.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience at a startup or in consulting.
  • Familiarity with the pace and ambiguity of startups.
  • Instinctively build workflows with AI and leverage technology for productivity.
  • Ability to mimic Jaleh’s writing style.
  • Ability to write clear, concise emails and messages with minimal spelling or grammar errors.
  • Ability to tackle a wide range of problems creatively, break them down with little direction, and find novel solutions.
  • Ability to separate signal from noise, identify what matters, and exercise excellent judgment.
  • Tendency to find the shortest path to a solution.
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized.
  • Comfortable operating within the velocity and chaos of a startup environment.
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency.
  • Natural ability to host and bring people together, creating bonding moments for the team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and orchestrate an AI assistant to manage Jaleh's day-to-day activities, including drafting and triaging email, preparing meeting materials, planning events, and automating recurring tasks.
  • Manage Jaleh's calendar, review prep documents, track commitments and follow-ups, and coordinate travel and logistics.
  • Collaborate with Jaleh to identify and solve the company's most pressing problems, such as setting pricing, finding legal counsel, or opening new offices.
  • Take ownership of problems from ambiguity to resolution without waiting for direction.
  • Manage people programs, including attracting talent, onboarding new hires, and designing cultural initiatives and team-building events.
  • Prepare board materials and investor updates.
  • Partner on finance-related matters, ensuring alignment between numbers, narrative, and cadence.
  • Oversee the accounting team and monthly closes until a Head of Finance is hired.
