The Chief of Staff to the CPO is a high-visibility leadership role that serves as a force multiplier for the Chief Procurement Officer and the global Procurement organization. Operating at the intersection of strategy, execution, and organizational effectiveness, this leader will run the Office of the CPO, drive the function’s strategic planning and operating cadence, and stand up and lead the Procurement Project Management Office (PMO) — the governance engine that ensures the function’s transformation initiatives, cost programs, and cross-functional projects deliver measurable results on time and on budget. This role is ideal for a strategic operator who combines executive presence and exceptional communication skills with the discipline of a world-class program manager. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor and proxy for the CPO, translate strategy into an executable portfolio of initiatives, and create the transparency, accountability, and rhythm that a high-performing global procurement organization requires. Equally important, the role requires a leader who can seamlessly switch between strategic priorities and transactional responsibilities, ensuring effective day-to-day execution of key activities such as meeting cadence, leadership off-site coordination and governance processes.
